Career Highlights

Laura is a specialist in legal research and writing and serves as the firm’s appellate expert. She has written motions and briefs at the trial, appellate, and Ohio Supreme Court level. Although her primary area of practice is professional and medical negligence, Laura has assisted clients in general liability coverage matters, construction law defense, and even contract disputes. Prior to coming to ATWF in 2019, Laura spent 20 years at law firms in Columbus where her primary responsibilities were legal research and writing for clients in various types of insurance defense cases, with a focus on medical malpractice defense.

Laura graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and attended the prestigious University of Michigan Law School.

When not working, Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family, particularly her husband Patrick and their pack of cardigan corgis. Laura also enjoys traveling, watching the Buckeyes, and reading.
