Career Highlights

Maryellen has been defending physicians and other healthcare providers in malpractice actions in the State of Ohio for over 30 years. She has also represented physicians, nurses and pharmacists before the State Licensing Boards in Ohio. Maryellen joined Arnold Todaro Welch & Foliano in 2000. In 2015 she moved from full-time to an of counsel position. She is a registered nurse who worked in numerous hospitals before obtaining her law degree. Maryellen has been an invited speaker on legal issues relevant to the medical community, including in-house presentations for clients.

Maryellen has been recognized by Best Lawyers as 2014 “Lawyer of the Year” in the practice area of Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants, Columbus, Ohio.
